Hundreds of companies track you through the different web sites you visit daily and log various kinds of information about you, which include your behavioral, personal, social and financial data.

This data is subsequently mined (analyzed) to arrive at a profile of you, which is then sold off to companies interested in targeting consumer groups who match their required profile.

Of course, you already know about this.

But did you know that you can expose these behind the scene data loggers and block them selectively by just installing a free browser extension?
